Covered a variety of sports, especially basketball and volleyball. Also covered some news stories, usually local events. Averaged one story a week.

Edited sports stories, 28 edits total. Announced weekly sports stories and organized coverage of important games.

Created agendas, ran class periods and organized coverage of stories. Created presentations and materials to teach the staff.

Learned the basics of journalism, wrote a range of stories from personality profiles to restaurant reviews. Set up a solid knowledge foundation for the types of stories and how to write them.
